A Seemingly Usual Type of List

I just arrived from a date with Derek (if "date" is really the term to be used. hehe!) and I thought of checking out my blog cause I was thinking of writing something. So, I logged in my Facebook account and then checked my Twitter. I wasn't decided yet where to write my blog post so I thought that I might as well read some of my followers' latest posts on Tumblr. Fortunately, I happened to see this cute list. It's just a usual type of blog: it has boring format and the topic is too common.. but, there's something in this blog that made me read it. Then, I realized, it caught my attention because it is something similar to what I want to write about. I run out of words to explain my vague thoughts so I decided to just let this blog post speak in behalf of me. :)

45 THINGS A GIRL WANTS, BUT WON’T ASK FOR:

1. Touch her waist.
2. Actually talk to her.
3. Share secrets with her.
4. Give her your jacket.
5. Kiss her slowly.

9. Invite her somewhere.

15. When her friends say “I love her more than you do”, deny it. Fight back and hug her tight so she can’t get to her friends. It makes her feel loved.

16. Always hug her and say I love you whenever you see her.
17. Kiss her unexpectedly.
18. Hug her from behind around the waist.

One last thing you need to do to show her you actually do mean it.
21. Open doors for her, walk her to her car - it makes her feel protected, plus it never hurts to act like a gentleman.

Dear Nessa,

No matter how many quotes, song lyrics, or however much you write your heart out.. Sometimes words just can't describe how you feel. I was there before; I know how hard it is. But even if others give up on you, never give up on yourself. You hold the strength, power, and determination to thrive in life. And please don’t be afraid to cry. People cry not because they're weak, it's because they've been strong for too long. Pain makes us stronger and heartbreak makes us wiser. In time, you will realize the good in goodbye. You’ll be happy again. Just always remember that you still have those people who truly love you, your friends and your family. Forget about him, besides, happiness is about learning to love what you have and not obsessing over what you don’t. Don't worry Nessa, God will never take away something from you, without planning to give something better. God is always working things out for you, even when you don't realize it. Just always remember that He doesn't make mistakes, so trust Him when someone ends up in your past; they're there for a reason. So, have faith and be thankful!
